Trust In Something Good
The seasons are certainly changing, but one thing that has not changed despite an entirely new way of handling lunches this year, is our dedication to serving better-for-you meals and snacks. And, because we always take your child’s dietary needs seriously we proudly serve MadeGood, an innovative, organic brand whose allergen-free products are revolutionizing the snack industry.
MadeGood makes healthy snacks that are rich in nutrients and are minimally processed, so it’s a no-brainer to bring their products into our schools. They are made in a dedicated nut-free facility, and all of their products are free from the most common allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, wheat/gluten, dairy, soy, egg, sesame, and fish/shellfish. Their products are also gluten-free, vegan, kosher, and, most importantly, delicious! In addition, MadeGood takes it a step further by packing the nutrients from a full serving of vegetables into each product.
Founded as a solution—similar to how Cater To You was founded--MadeGood was born when Nima Fotovat faced a challenge: to provide a healthy snack for his school-age child. When his son was entering school, Nima struggled to find a snack that satisfied his standards. Along with his siblings, Sahba and Salma, they combined their passion with their family’s tradition of manufacturing and created MadeGood. After several rounds of trial and error, the three siblings created a delicious soft-baked granola bar free from the most common allergens and packed with the nutrition and yumminess.
Launched at Germany’s Anuga fair in 2013, MadeGood has quickly adapted to the increasing demand for allergen-free, healthy alternative snack options. A fun, dynamic snack brand of Riverside Natural Foods, MadeGood is a family-owned business based in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. Adhering to the highest industry standards, they source non-GMO, organic, and vegan ingredients for all products.
MadeGood knows that quality is in the details, that’s why the oats they use come from an industry-leading producer of pure, uncontaminated, organic, certified gluten-free oats through its Purity Protocol. MadeGood was created with the health and happiness of the people and planet alike in mind. “MadeGood prides itself on being a purpose-driven brand that is family-owned, with a passion behind making products that are good for consumers, good for the environment, and good for the world,” says founder Nima Fotovat. MadeGood is a Certified B Corporation and certified by Zero Waste.
